Meet Dr. Candice Fresques, DMD

Background and Credentials

Dr. Fresques received her Bachelor of Science degree from Westminster College in mathematics before attending the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine where she graduated with honors and fulfilled her dream of becoming a dentist. As a student, she utilized her skills and talents to provide free dental services to the underprivileged communities in Honduras and downtown Pittsburgh. In 2012, she completed a general practice residency at the George E. Wahlen Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Salt Lake City. It was a privilege for her to care for our nation's heroes and she was grateful to expand her dental skills and knowledge. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Utah Dental Association, and Salt Lake South Dental Society. She is board-certified to practice family dentistry in Utah and committed to positive, personalized dental experiences for her patients of all ages.

With nine years of experience as a general dentist in Syracuse, we are pleased to introduce our new doctor, Dr. Candice Fresques DMD, to our patient family. She was carefully selected by Dr. Mat Mouritsen, our previous owner and dentist of 28 years, for her exceptional dental care and comforting, friendly demeanor. She is now excited to offer her services to you in West Jordan, Utah and its neighboring communities. Together with her highly experienced and diverse team, Dr. Fresques strives to make every patient's experience at Copper Canyon Dental as enjoyable as possible. She is not only committed to your dental health and listening to your dental concerns, but she wants to improve each patient's mind-body wellness too.

In Her Free Time

Born and raised in Davis County, she has enjoyed living near our beautiful mountains and providing comprehensive quality care in her home state. She is married to a supportive husband, Dustin. They have two children (Gwen and Felix) and two new puppies that keep the family entertained. In her free time, Dr. Fresques enjoys crafting with her kids, camping, hiking, yoga, gardening and spending time with friends and family.
